We were so happy to have Sandi back with us today.....

It was great to hear about her holiday in NZ.....
what a lovely bag of goodies she gave us......
gosh we are so lucky.....

It was sooooo good to have you back with us Sandi.....

Last Sunday I enjoyed breakfast with Liz at a great little cafe....
"Three Girls Skipping"
A very sensible meal for Liz... Eggs Benedict

and a very naughty one for me.....
Gingerbread waffles with banana, ice cream and salted caramel sauce.....

I have been working on the Splendid Sampler......
and hope to make good progress in the next couple of weeks....

Very newsy ......

How lovely to catch up with this gorgeous lady on Saturday.....
Chooky was visiting Brisbane so naturally a get together was the go.....

It was also great to see so many blog girls as well......

so much giggling and chatter....
we were a little bit noisy or should that be..... very very loud.....lol

Sunday was our usual Stitchers group and of course more chatter and laughing.....

Our Birthday girl was Lynda.....

Michelle had these goodies to show.....
Susan was her helper....

I also had a little finish....

I love this hanging.....
"The Happy Stitcher" pattern by Natalie Bird....
the Tuesday girls gave me this kit for my birthday last year....

Lots of outings this week.....

Monday I had a wonderful lunch with  Heather at
"Pelican's Slipway Cafe"  at Redland Bay....

So very relaxing watching the boats go by and hearing about her trip to Japan to see Corinne....

Tuesday was of course our normal stitching day and I was working on this pin cushion.....
or should I say growling at it really....
dam fiddly little thing, just as well I was with the girls who were making me laugh....
Our gorgeous Sandi was on holiday in New Zealand and we can't wait for her to come back to us.
This is called"Dragonfly Resting " by Helen Dafter.

It is now sitting with my special little bits and pieces on Mum's old china cabinet.

Another little finish for this week.....
something I should have made a long time ago but better late than never I guess.

Here I go again......

Enough is enough !!!!!!!!

Yes this is a catch up post.....
I have been sooooo slack and it has to stop....
so back to blogging for me.....
this will probably be a photo heavy post.....

JANUARY.....

I had such a good belly laugh when this arrived for me in the mail,
I guess this will be hard to explain really but I will give it a go.

On retreat in January Jenny made a great bed for her dog and I talked her into making Scruffy a matching cushion..... so thanks to Scruffy Jen made me a bone cushion.
I guess you had to be there at the time to see just how funny this is.

I finally finished my wall hanging from retreat .....
I'm very pleased with it.

A quick peg bag project, I'm the proud  owner of 2 peg bags.....

This one hangs on my trolley and the other which De made for me stores my special pegs in the laundry.

Valentines Day with the girls.....

I have never had or given a Valentine pressie so this year changed that.........

We ......the Tuesday girls decided to have a Fun Valentine Day.....

so on arrival at Sandi's home I thought I should get into the spirit of it all.....

the silly look is Norreen's fault, she said "smile" .......
have you ever had to smile with a rose in your mouth I ask, it was a fake flower but difficult just the same.

As usual Sandi had set a beautiful table for us....

This photo says it all I think......

what a proposal.....

Food of course

Gifts....

Stitching...... not a lot of that happened really.....

Our challenge was to make " tacky cards for each other" but I forgot to get piccies of them....

Thank you my lovelies for another fun day.....

Love you girls heaps.....
