Once again we had a wonderful time on retreat.....

this time we stayed in the house and of course it didn't disappoint....
such a beautiful place to spend craft time with friends.

On a walk around the grounds I had to get a few piccies....

So relaxing....

On arrival we had the usual tea and scones..... yum...

The following day we were off to Bryson's for morning tea....

In the evening Glenis brought us wine and nibbles....

Of course there has to be one silly photo....
I was enjoying a very comfortable lounge chair and the girls thought it would be funny to put a bottle of grog in my arm and take a photo so I said "ok .... go for it"
and here it is..... funny part is I don't drink but it was funny and I was sliding off the chair.....
no I wasn't asleep either just mucking about....

How many more silly photos do these girls have......

My sewing.... all ready now for quilting....

My cushions

and lastly....
my little wall hangings....

A very special visitor.....

This was a fantastic time for our family,
our grandson Thomas came to visit and stay a couple of days with us.
it is a long and complicated story.....

Our son Robert with Thomas April 2011
the last time Rob saw his son....

January this year....

Tom and me

Tom with Pop

He is 15 years old now and has grown into a lovely young man.

It is amazing how great it is to see Tom and his Dad together.....

it really is amazing how comfortable and relaxed they
are together as you can count on one hand how many times they have seen each other in his 15 years.

I just can't believe that these are the only photos I have,
not even one of him with his Dad......
maybe it was the excitement that no-one took any photos or possibly  I am just losing the plot.
We had such a lovely time with Tom.....
we went shopping with his Aunt Heather and cousin June.
June took him to the movies and then a get together for dinner with the rest of the family.

I took the 2 photos above the day her left when I realised I hadn't taken any others.

We all hope that it won't be as long till we see him again.....
he did say that he wanted to visit and stay with his Dad again soon.....

Tom lives in Sydney and
unfortunately his Mum makes seeing Tom very difficult but hopefully
that will change as he gets older and can make his own decisions.

So it is  Toodles from me again....
