Happy New Year

I Wish all my Family and Friends a Very Safe and Happy 2015

Woohoooo see you next year.....

Last of our NZ holiday 2014 snaps......

Relaxing on the Steam Train travelling along the Taieri Gorge Railway ...
there was a coffee shop on the train but no photos.... forgot.

We were able to get off the train for a casual walk over this bridge and then watch the train come across,
very interesting  stories by the train manager.

A very enjoyable day.
The journey started here at the beautiful train station in Dunedin.
I had to take the photo in 3 stages as it is soooo big..... stunning.

We then went on to Cromwell a very pretty town.

My friend Jo lives here so we were able to have a fantastic visit with her..... I enjoyed this so much.....
Jo took us on a trip around the area, it was great to spend the day with her.

Thanks so much Jo for having us in your home and showing us the sites of Cromwell.

Queenstown was our next stop..... the place for extreme sports.....
No we didn't do anything too exciting ....

We did take a trip on the TSS Earnslaw Vintage Steamship.... very nice and once again relaxing for us.

Yep I found another coffee shop..... on board and it was yum.

Our hire car....Corolla..... and it went like a dream for the 10 days.

Well I think that will do for today but there will be more.....

Friends in Stitching Christmas Swap

Bec was my partner in this swap, there were 5 small pressies and 1 for Christmas day.
It was great fun to open gifts each morning for 6 days in a row..... I will miss that now.

Day 5

My photography doesn't show the very pretty colours of the fabrics,
the lovely tin has nail/hand cream and nail files.

Thanks for the gifts Bec.

I was sending to Christine .....

Well how dopey and I ?   No don't answer that.
I don't seem to have taken photos of the 5 small gifts...... ooooops.

I know that Christine loves Bonnie and Camille fabrics so I chose these for her and made a table runner plus
a little plum pudding tree decoration.

I do hope Christine enjoyed her gifts.

Our Christmas Lunch 2014

Christmas Eve saw my baby Liz come for a sleep over with her Mummy and Daddy, we decided to go out for dinner..... just the 3 of us and I'm so glad we did as it was great to share the evening together.

Liz and me trying to do selfies....... not very good are we, helppppp Cathy.

Christmas Day was at Heather's place and I haven't got any photos of family really so these few will have to do.

Dessert.... yummo

Its a bit hard to see but Liz has a meat cleaver to cut the pavlova with ..... scaryyyyy  look on her face too.

Oooooops another selfie..... a little better.

Our Corinne being very cheeky.

That was it for photos...... I will do better next year.... maybe.
